Well, I got given two copies of Going Postal, and I've only read one of them...

Excellent ! It's such a good book (and I love the ending where the Patrician makes a certain other character a similar offer to the one he made Moist at the beginning of the book !)

Thanks for that! That's the one I've got waiting!!

It's actually quite embarrassing how little I've read this year - I'm a pretty fast reader so I normally get through loads. In my defence though, this year I've moved house, changed jobs (and careers), got married, and been studying part time.

Well that's no excuse !!

No, I'm teasing you - that's a heck of a lot of life stuff, so I'm not surprised you've not got much reading done !

I've got The Amber Spyglass for reading on train journeys, and at home I'm re-reading The Book, the Film, the T-Shirt. Which isn't sci-fi, nor is it entirely fantasy, but it's very funny. I've also got a partially-read Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell knocking about somewhere. I'm having a lot of trouble getting into that one, for some reason.

I am currently on my mammoth re-read of the Wheel of Time in preparation of opening Book 11. I am on Book 5 - the Fires of Heaven. This re-read is fantastic - the amount of foreshadowing that RJ does is amazing, and adds great value to the earlier books. Also, it's crazy how many major plot developments I either missed or glossed over on a first read. Really enjoying taking my time over these.
