I'm reading Mr Galliano's Circus by Enid Blyton to my little boy. I have already done Hurrah for the Circus with him.

After hearing of the death of Ray Bradbury I got my copy of The Day it Rained Forever of the shelf and was thrilled once again by Dark they were and golden- eyed. I first read it many years ago and in all the times I have read it since it has never failed to give me a sense of wonder. Thank you Mr Bradbury.

In a somewhat similar vein I raided the library this morning and borrowed Fahrenheit 451 for a re-read - and also picked up Dandelion Wine, Now & Forever, and Green Shadows, White Whale (none of which I've read before).

The library assistant had to fetch two of them from the store out the back, so I suggested that in light of Bradbury's death yesterday, they might like to get the books out of the store and put them where readers can find them because I bet I'm not the only person to want to (re)read his stories...

Yay!

I am reading Bestial by William Carl. Usually for me, it's an apocalypse novel, but unusually for me this time it's werewolves. So far really enjoying it.
