I likes the ads that are geographically based. Having just moved from Chicago to LA it's still funny to see that the same girl who was earning $16K a week working at home in Chicago is now getting the same working at home in LA

Also the ads that are on top of the SFX site, I suspect I'm one of the very few who's seeing adverts for gun holsters

I don't mind ads, provided they stick to a basic banner format, too much animation or anything that pops up if your mouse drifts too close annoys me. It's not the site's fault, but I wish you coudl tell advertisers that sort of thing puts you off.

The ones I have on teh forum at the moment for example are fine. Previously the forum has had some bad ads though There was a Termiator: Sarah Connor Chronicles one that had a terminator burst through the page, every time a new page loaded. It got in the way of me doing what I came to the site to do, not good.
