Presumably he bought the 40th Anniversary Edition. He's probably one of those people in strange costumes who go to the PCC's SingalongaSoundofMusic evenings....

Perhaps he did. But as this is a thread for telling people about DVD bargains, some clue as to how much he paid and where he bought it would be nice. I'm sure there is another thread for just posting things you've bought.

Nor is this the first time he's posted nothing but a bandwidth-unfriendly image of a full price product. I think a mod needs to slap Mr McKinney down.

breaking news from hmv-

"Dear HMV Customer,

I am emailing you in regard to your order for:

Sin City: Recut & Extended: 2dvd: Hmv Exclusive: Special Packaging
Unfortunately the item has been recalled to the supplier as the DVD does not contain the correct extras that it should.
We do not have a date on when the item will be coming back into stock but we will be in contact with you as soon as we have more news. You have not been charged for the DVD, as we only ever charge when an item is despatched from our warehouse.
The standard version of the DVD is available, although you may well already own it:

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter - if there is anything that I can assist you with please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards,
James
