The Unborn (1/5) I thought my brain would melt.
Triangle (4/5) Amazing. Just go and see it. Now. Run. Don't walk. Zombieland (3/5) A fast food movie, not necessarily bad, just not very good for you. |

Time Bandits on Film Four.
I've always loved this film but haven't seen it in a while - it didn't disappoint! It's a wonderful mix of fantasy, wish fulfillment, humour, scares and cameos from some great actors. For me, one of the standout scenes is the escape from the hanging cages - terrified and thrilled me in equal measures when I was younger and I still find myself cheering them along! 4.5 / 5

Sequel time!
Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies One of my favourite cheesy horrors. Love the creepiness of the Djinn and the seeing how he can twist any wish into something bad. Also how can you hate a movie where someone literary f&%ks themselves? 4/5 Wrong Turn 2: Dead End Wasn't sure about watching this as the first ones basically a boring 'the hills have eyes' rip-off and this one adds the it's all on a reality TV show spin which is always weak. But stone my skull if it doesn't defy expectations, It's much, much better that its predecessor. Also has Henry Rollins (Black Flag) as the a great cheesy drill sargent who can kick more ar%e than you can shake a stick at. 4/5 Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior Hadn't seen this for a while and forgot just how good it is. Simply one of best movies ever made, almost every beat is prefect. 5/5 Blade 2 If only the other Blade movies were as good as this one. It's cheesy and has a 90's feel (wish is odd since it was made in 2002) but it's highly enjoyable cheese. 3.5/5 Blade: Trinity Hard to say why I find this movie so rubbish. The cast all seem to be trying and the story's not that bad. But still I find it dull. 3/5 |

Zombie Flesh Eaters 2
I can't put my finger on just what it is about this film, but I LOVE it! It is so mind-bogglingly goddawful that I was loving every second; the atrocious dubbing, the hammy acting, the meagre special effects, the utter lack of logic, the continuity errors, ("I've only got 2 bullets left" - spoken by a character a minute before he opens up with his rifle and guns down a whole mob of zombies.) I have never seen a more rubbish movie in all my life. (No...wait...Doom!) But this really was a case of being so bad it was good! |
