Scooby Doo : The Mystery Begins 4/5
Really wary of this but it was family time last night and suffice to say the kids loved it, and I have to say thought this was going to be woeful and it was actually good fun.

Went to see Couples Retreat last night and really enjoyed it. Just a warning though if you are expecting Swingers or Made you will be disappointed. It's much more of an Apatow type comedy. I saw that it's not receiving great reviews but I honestly thought it was funny. It's pretty silly humour and there's a few predictable moments but there are also some really great lines. I do love Jason Bateman, Vaughn and Favreau but there's also some great moments with Peter Serafinowicz and Ken Jeong. |

Theatre Of Blood, starring the great Vincent Price as an unhinged Shakespearean actor who with the aid of his daughter (a young and utterly gorgeous Diana Rigg offs a large selection of theatre critics in a manner taken from the bard's plays - so one is drowned in a vat of wine, another has his heart cut out (a pound of flesh). My favourite being where one (Arthur Lowe aka Capt. Mainwaring from Dad's Army) is silently decapitated next to his sleeping wife (Joan Hickson aka Miss Marple)!
A great cast and marvellous dialogue.
