An interesting new trailer for a game called The Unfinished Swan was just released.

"The player is a young boy chasing after a swan who has wandered off into a surreal, unfinished kingdom. The game begins in a completely white space where players can throw paint to splatter their surroundings and reveal the world around them."

Slightly reminiscent of the springy paint in Portal 2.

I love experimental little downloadable games like this. More like those, please!

Rock Band iOS App “No Longer Playable” After May 31

I didn't even realise that you had to be online to play Rock Band, although I've never played the iOS version, but still this is a bit of a crappy thing to do isn't it?

Bit disappointed at the news of Elder Scrolls online, I'd much rather they were working on Skyrim expansions or Fallout 4. There's no need to try and make the Elder Scrolls into an MMORPG.

Still disappointed that Knights Of The Old Republic went that way, 'cos I just can't get into The Old Republic, just not grabbing me.

Read an interesting article on PAR about assassin's creed three, with the added bonus of learning more than you wanted to about Ben Franklin's taste in women

Really? I love The Old Republic. But then I'm a MMORPG player. I can understand it from someone who doesn't play and love MMORPGs. I've been playing SWTOR since launch and it's my favourite game at the mo. But that's probably because I have a great guild from my previous MMO to play with.
To a complete outsider who's only played KOTOR 1 & 2 and was hoping for KOTOR 3 I can see it probably it isn't what you wanted.

I like playing single player games sometimes, but I personally love MMOs more. I enjoy logging in, seeing what all my guildies are doing, helping em out, grouping up, talking on voice comms etc. It's my online community.
Playing a solo game after that usually feels quite empty, unless the game is really awesome.

Dead Space 3 goes co-op

E3 is only a few weeks away and DS3 will probably be announced then.

"New titles take precedence," says Tetsuya Nomura on a much-desired Final Fantasy VII remake.

They were saying the same thing over a year ago. As nice as I think it would be, and as much dosh as it would make for Squeenix, I don't necessarily think it needs remaking in the grand sense that I think the developers mean.

And it's not like the original game is hard to come by. It's cheap as chips on the PSN store, and you can get the disc version for a little over a tenner on eBay.

Any word of a console version? I know they released the second one on PS2 years ago, but it'd be ace to play the shiny updated original on PS3/360

In other news...
Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set Announced

This does look pretty ace. Until they announce "Super Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set Turbo"

Pretty sure the PS2 only had custom console games created for it. Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance and its sequel, which bore no real relation to the PC games

Not sure how a console could manage a six party team in any case. It has to be a mouse game.

Unless of course you have an Ipad, of which the Enhanced BG in develop will be available.
