That was the one part of the episode that didn't ring true for me (well, aside from Fergus getting a sudden case of total idiocy so everything could work out). Michaela pretty much said out loud she was off to start eating the hell out of people, andnobody seemed to bat an eyelid, despite it only being a day earlier that Tom was trying to decide whether or not to stake Hal.

That gripe aside, I agree with what seems to be the overwhelming consensus: best episode of the three so far.

Definitely the best ep of the season so far. Hal and Tom worked exceptionally well off one another, I can't wait to see more of them two. Especially loved the ending fight, reminded me a little bit of Buffy.

I can only echo the comments: best episode so far, and much more like the earlier ones, tonally. Some very good comedy, with some drama to balance it out well. The new characters are developing well, Tom is getting some more depth and Annie is growing as a character too. have to agree too that the casual waving goodbye to the killer vampires was a bit off, but I can forgive that given the lighter tone throughout.

I am very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed that, and how well the show is adapting to a significant cast change. Kudos to Mr Whithouse.

A nice episode to bed in the new team and pleasantly not make me get anything in my eyes. Less epic this week and more the new relationships the Hal/Tom partnership is gelling nicely and yes funniest one in ages.

I thought this weeks episode was a lot better than the first two which i didn't really like that much
