This ebay seller

http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayIS...=beautymulan88

has been selling Doctor Who series 1 box sets really cheap. I won an auction for £13. His postage is £7.50, but still overall it's a bargain. Or you can do a buy it now for about £20.

The boxed sets are region 1, so I don't think they're the tardis box. Mine hasn't arrived yet, but if there's anything dodgy about it when it does I'll let you know. Guy has good feedback though, so fingers crossed.

STARGATE SEASON 8 @ £6.97 at Amazon.co.uk
Bastards pulled this one as a misprice.

Or dvd.co.uk are selling the individual DVDs for £5.99 apiece post free, so if you don't want to worry about potential dodginess it's only a few quid more....

What are the extras like on the R1 set?

Hold on! The individual DVDs are the "vanilla" rip off versions with no extras and they come sans 5.1 surround sound.
The box set is the better deal, whether you buy it as a bargain or not. The BBC are currently doing the same thing with Torchwood-releasing the series in three parts before a boxset later in the year. Don't be fooled.

Well I'm no fan of Torchwood but, if I were buying the series, I'd be waiting for the boxset! :P

Maybe as a present for people they hate?
