The X-men art this issue is dire and makes it almost unreadable. Sensational Spiderman 28 (first unmasked issue) is suprisingly good. Ultimate Spiderman 97 is predictable but still fun and Ultimate Fantastic Four with the zombies is great.

I'm going to visit my parents this weekend and I hopefully will bring back some old random comics (Avengers, Batman,Ghost Rider loads of different stuff) Can't promise anything yet, but if I can I shall pack some up into randompacks and then if anybody wants one I'll whack one in the post. Uk only I'm afraid.

If I volunteer to cover the reception at work one lunchtime, then I can get access to the postroom and do some free postage

PLUS, got Wolverine "Enemy Of The State" books 1 and 2 today courtesy of the nice Amazon people. Millar + Rimita = Brilliant!
I think it is an issue of Spidey super stories

Bought 200ad, the fanzine that SFX touted for, and an Alan Moore DC collection graphic novel

I've been reading most of Marvel's Civil War issues, and the new X-Men creative chages this week.

Oh and trying to read through some of Frank Miller's early Daredevil issues. Those still stand up pretty well.

It is dependant on getting past the wife. She is always banging on about me selling my old comics. I won't have any of it though. I've had my pleasure and I collected comics not for the investment, but for the reading pleasure. So I'd much rather give some away to people who might actually read them, than sell them. I don't get the pleasure from reading them anymore, as soon as I pick one up I can recall the entire storyline.

Anyway I'll know on Sunday which ones I can grab and I'll post a list on this thread. Then they will be randomly packed in 5-10 comic packs and anybody in this thread that wants one can have one. Until obviously I run out.

Hush returns? Have you not heard about how Lieberman and that story in particular are hated byBat fans and derided by most as poorly written crap? Send it back!

You should it’s a stinker. Trust me. It’s nothing like Hush either.

You might want to have a butcher's in The Works if you've got a branch near you as the branches near me are selling sundry loose comics for 3 for £1. A lot of dross, but you never know what's dross to me might be gold to you. If you see issues of Midnight Nation, Kin, The Invisibles, Bone or Rising Stars I recommend you snatch 'em up. Avoid anything with Rob Leifield's name on it - even issues of Battlestar Galactica, trust me.

Also Music Zone tends to stock cheap graphic novels from time to time. They currently have a lot of classic Alan Moore (Watchmen, V For Vendetta, League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen) and Frank Miller stuff (Sin City, Batman Year One, Dark Knight Returns) at about 1/3 off RRP, but in the past they've had lots of Judge Dredd/2000AD and DC stuff (Shade The Changing Man, Superman For All Seasons and various Batman titles) for just a couple of quid each.

Just a thought.
