Hmm, technically a graphic novel but my last was Blackest Night, reading it very slowly on purpose because I have been waiting ages for it, but its living up to my expectations.

Shame I can't afford the rest of them yet, but they will be MINE!

Well...

-in the interest of full disclosure, I was awarded disability from the US Navy, which means I don't have to work...but I'm far from rich. Also- the guy who runs Al's Comic Shop here in Stockton has known me for more than 20 years and he always gives me generous discounts (usually around 25%) so I've little cause to complain.

Otherwise, yeah...'m a big time Geekaholic to the max.

Commando #4323: Island Ambush - new art by veteran 2000AD/IPC artist Mike White (The Mean Arena, Time Twisters: The Reversible Man as well as The Leopard Of Lime Street in Buster and Roy Of The Rovers). Its great to see he's still working (or not if he'd rather be retired I guess) and he's still got some serious drawing chops.

Commando #4325: Mustang Ace - a reprint from 1971 featuring stunning early artwork by John Ridgway (Hellblazer, Doctor Who, Tales Of The Dead Man, Summer Magic). A real treat - his very first Commando book!

Batman 520-525

Got them froma charoty shop, I don't get many comics due to being poor, so it's makes it all the more of a kick when you do get some, kind of like the way you did when you were a little kid and you were bought some. When you're an adult and have a fair bit of money you can walk into a shop and buy them anytime, so that exciting kick is somewhat lessened.
