I thought it would be nice for this section to have an ongoing thread in which we all post the lastest comics we have been buying...

Never seen one of those "Spidey" ones before.

My lastest are:

New Avengers #20, #21
Ultimates 2 #11
Squadron Supreme #4
Punisher #34 #35

PLUS, got Wolverine "Enemy Of The State" books 1 and 2 today courtesy of the nice Amazon people. Millar + Rimita = Brilliant!

I recently bought Astonishing X-Men 13 and I've ordered 14 as the shop didn't have it. For my birthday my brother got me Ultimate X-Men 1 and since then I've been reading through them and I recently bought book 5.

I'm really new to comic books but I want to start reading more, so all recommendations are welcome! Oh, I didn't buy it but the other day my other brother lent me his copy of Watchmen which I thought was an outstanding book.

Hmmm, it should be quality rather than quantity... there's not much there I'd recommend to be honest.

Oops, sorry, forgot to mention what I've been buying. Went to the new Mega Forbidden Planet in Bristol at the weekend - what a fantastic place! All those brilliant art toys!! Anyway, I'd gone with the intention of picking up the fifth The Walking Dead book, but couldn't find it - which was annoying as Amazon says it's out now, but I didn't order it from them as they've got a five week delivery time on it at the moment. Does anybody know if this is out yet? Better yet, can anyone recommend any good comic web sites which also give publication dates in the UK please?

Anyway, as that wasn't available, I bought a few of those five comics for £1 deals they do (yes, I know, I'm contradicting myself and my last post by buying these...)... and managed to pick up copies of PVP in the process, woohoooo!

Also forked out for the first Kamandi collection, issues 1-10. Ah heaven, now I don't have to dig out my originals any more and ruin them further. Great, great series.

I bought a mixture of Superman & Action Comics from the late 1980's to the mid 1990's.
And I got these from my local comic store called Ace in Colchester, who just happened to have a stall last Saturday at Cineworld Braintree when I came out after seeing Superman Returns.
Cool or what.
