So after Frisday's finale I got to wondering where the boys can go to find help to deal with Cas.
Will we see the return of Chuck and find out if he really is God? Will the boys have to do a deal with the Devil and free him for his cage. Or will we be seeing the return of Death, he seems to be the only being capable of taking on a God (he did say to Dean that one day even God would be reaped by him). Not sure how Cas not being a regular will see the season play out, perhaps he won't be the main bigbad?

I'm curious and concerned about season 7. Not having Misha around as a regular is a huge disappointment. But taking in account the recent events it does make sense.
As much as I love Misha Collins as Castiel, I just don't see a god "wearing him as a meatsuit". I think it makes sense for him to transform into something else, compared to being just an icier-and-less-pleasant version of Cas. They have to make a change to make him a believable god. But if this actually means getting rid of Misha Collins I hope I'm wrong, because that is too big a loss! I could also see them fighting against a God-Cas, without having Misha in the show, and then finding a way to take the new power from him, so he will be back to regular angel and back to Misha. |

I think also if Cas was the villain the whole series and was showing up ALL the time, you'd be wondering why he's meant to be such a threat if the Winchesters keep surviving. Have him showing up sporadically, and otherwise off "moving mysteriously" for another agenda.

Quote:
Azazel - sporadic except last few episodes of season 1&2, Lilith - only a few appearances in season 3&4 and then Lucifer was only in so many episodes of season 5. It does make sense for the flow of a 20+ episode series but agreed it is a shame as Cas is a fans favourite. |

The CW have ordered an extra episode for S7, so instead of 22 we get 23. When I first saw this I did wonder if it was because they were planning to finish the show off in big style with the extra episode. But then CW has also ordered extra episodes for The Vampire Diaries and Gossip Girls, so perhaps that's not the case.

Here's the episode titles for the first nine episodes
"Meet the New Boss" "Hello, Cruel World" "The Girl Next Door" "Defending Your Life" "Shut Up, Dr. Phil" "Slash Fiction" "All in the Family" "The Mentalists" "Season Seven, Time for a Wedding!" I'm guessing episode 6 won't be as suited to the fan girls as the title suggests, but i'll hazard a guess that the ninth ep will be meta
