The new episodes started again today at 6PM, I just sat down to watch it and I got rang up by a survey, my five minutes of answering questions ended up being more like 20.

Pretty brutal couple of episodes in this slaver arc.

Loved the bit near the end where the main bad guy after slaughtering a load of people and torturing Obi Wan taunts him with the line. "I am unarmed, and I know your Jedi code would never allow you to strike me down"

So Kenobi just looks at Rex and smiles, and Rex throws an electrified spear right through him with the line "I am no Jedi"

Anyone else getting really narked off with the way Cartoon Network are airing this series? Been recording it all May and it just seems to be the second half of the series, airing at 6pm, with some random episodes thrown in at the weekend. The Sky box only has a generic description, you can't put on a series link so you just have to record all episodes manually and hope you can make some sense of the order. This week they seem to be repeating the show, now with episode specific descriptions thank god, but it hasn't been repeated from the beginning, just the second half, and then they randomly threw in that pair of Droids centric episodes from the first half of the season. What is going on here? It is ridiculous, I was hoping they'd repeat any I'd missed, but it just seems to be all over the place. Was hoping to get the whole series recorded and then watch them in order, but this is starting to look less and less likely to happen.

If I hadn't already watched them when they came out in the US I'd be getting really annoyed right about now. Get it back on Sky Movies where it was at least treated with a bit of respect and aired in the correct order without adverts.

Starting to look a little more promising now, primarily thanks to episode specific descriptions going up on the old Skybox. If you've missed the beginning of this series as I have, fear not. Looks like the first episode is airing again this Friday, and will be continuing on in order on week days at 6pm. The finale of the series is also on this weekend on Saturday with a 4 episode special from 6pm onwards. Will almost have the entire series recorded by the end of next week with episode descriptors intact, so watching them in order now shouldn't be too much of a nightmare experience.

Had the same problem trying to keep track of waht episodes were being shown. The only one I missed is the third installment of the Mon Calamari plot. Ended up double recording the Obi Wan undercover story but have setup for Saturday's 4 new episodes which takes us to the end of the season.

Overall, I have been impressed this season with the stories and the animation is fantastic. And the way we see Anakin succumbing to anger & mistrust (careful prompting by Palpatine/Dooku) adds flesh to why Anakin behaves as he does in Revenge of the Sith (it all seemed too sudden turning on Mace Windu).

Yeah, the animation quality has gone from strength to strength this season. I just recently got series 3 on dvd and watching that it really highlights how much things have improved in just one year. The game changer seems to have been when they upgraded the principle characters halfway through that season to more movie style costumes (and an older Ashoka) to better match their look in ROTS, and to just up the general quality of the models. It is such a surprise what a difference that made to the quality of the show on the whole, and the same kind of upgrades were made across the show, especially evident in the season finale with Ashoka battling Trandoshan hunters in a lavishly visualised jungle.

Then with this season they just seem to successfully up the ante every episode. Bring on season 5 I say.

My only critiscism from a parent's POV is it actually extremely violent (great for me as a fan), IMO making it unsuitable viewing for my 6 year old son who does love all the Star Wars spaceships/tech.
