Yeah, also they seem to pretty much publish everything unless it's offensive, at least as far as I could tell?

Hey Starkers, how did you go with... you know...

Bit sad today. Guy I've been writing with has passed away. Damn shame, because he never got to see his dream project made, a TV series about the Red Baron (he'd spent years researching it). He was a funny, gentle guy, helpful to everyone on the forum, and he'll be much missed.

Sorry to hear that Australis, you say he was helpful to everyone on the forum, so was he someone we all know?

Hi, well I submitted it. In the end I didn't have much chance to amend it or add bits in (and I thought most of your points were quite valid, it did need a bit more meat to it) but I figured I had nothing to lose putting it in, and it was a good learning exp nontheless.

Thank you again it was a huge help

That's a real shame about your friend, especially when he never got to see his project reach fruition

Was it sudden or something that was expected? Not that I'm ever sure it makes a difference.

Kahless - this was on the other writing forum I go to, Screenwriting Goldmine. Not well known, but had been on the fringe of things for a long time (like early consultant on 'Baa Baa Black Sheep').

Starkers - I think he'd been ill for quite a while, but his last email 10 days before he died said "stay in touch", so I think it was nonetheless unexpected.

I did mention this further up

My story is already completed, just need to proof/edit it a couple of time and it'll be ready to go!

I did wonder if it was the same thing or if perhaps it was a comic script you were working on.
