Dang, a new router is called for. I'm not sure what happened in that last level I played, you two vanished. Then there was a massive wave of enemies and we lasted about a minute.

Finished here too, and that ending is a bit odd but not as bad as some of the internet screaming would have you believe.

Think I'm right before the start of the final missions, was asked "are you sure you're ready for this" beforehand. Said no, and playing some multiplayer to bump up my readiness. My military effectiveness is something about 5300, is that good?

Yeah, it's not worth the level of vitriol that's been levelled at it, but it does have some major problems, of a similar ilk to the BSG finale. I'll start a thread when I have time.

Finished it now, this series has definitely been well worth it. Not sure where they could go next, especially since they've said it might not be the worst idea to keep our save files.

One thing that did piss me off about this game, galaxy at war. I played a bit of multiplayer, but after several matches it started to annoy me, selfish players that want to go it like Rambo and not help out other people, then getting gunned down and failing the mission when they have to activate a terminal or something. People who've spent far, far too long playing the multiplayer that immediately boot you when they see you're a lower level. And then making that part of the main game?! I got up to 100% last night using both the multiplayer and the iphone game (the iphone game might not have been the best, but it was definitely preferable to the multiplayer to me at the end), and then woke up about 7/8 hours later, and it had alreay gone down to 98%.

The game didn't need multiplayer, and it definitely didn't need to play a role in the single player game. If people want to replay and get the best endings in a few years, the only option is going to be repeatedly playing the iphone game, 'cos there won't be anyone left on the multiplayer.

Rant over, I really liked this game.
