So looking forward to this, looks amazing.

Strange there's not been any reviews yet, Skyward Sword isn't out for another week after this and we've had reviews for that,

IGN said on the video where they unboxed the Collector's Edition that they would release the review on the 10th. I'll try and find the url for it.

The list of trophies has been announced:- http://www.officialplaystationmagazi...yrim-trophies/
There's nothing too spoilerish (unless you count getting married!!)

i think that looks very platinumable

I was dreading some incredibly convaluted grinding trophies but on the whole they all seem pretty reasonable.

played oblivion alot probably over 500 hours total at least with 4 different characters and never did the thieves guild or assassins dark brotherhood as it seemed wrong (conversely played all the gta and didn't blink an eyelid! odd)

looking forward to this so much

Apparently it's getting a day 1 patch to version 1.1

Wonder if it's an attempt to stop people who get it early from playing it till Friday? They know it happens, like how the makers of MW3 said something along the lines of how they hoped all players would wait till the 8th to play it.

That, or maybe there's a noticeable glitch/bug early on in the game.

Ditto. As for the moralistic side of things, the way i see it, you don't really get a chance to choose between a do-gooder & a out-and-out bastard on GTA, it's all a bit 'grey', unlike on RPG's like Scrolls, Fallout, Mass Effect & Dragon Age where it's more clear cut. For instance, on Oblivion, i'm currently playing as a light-fingered Mage who has stolen over 8550 items, pickpocketed 30 people & murdered 3 others, all the while i'm keeping any Bounty on me as small as possible. One of the three people i killed was the bloke from the Dark Brotherhood who tried to recruit me after i killed 2 others as part of one of the Daedric Quests. I killed him purely for his fancy Robe & Hood.
I haven't really thought about the Thieve's Guild as i want to complete the Mage's Guild Quest line & then the Main Quest before moving onto Skyrim.
I anticipate that my Skyrim character will probably be either another Mage or for variety as a Thief who is a dab hand with a Bow & Arrow as Marksman is one of the skills i've ignored on Oblivion

archery was severly overpowered in oblivion , once you learnt the zoom in and poison making you could one shot the toughest enemies if in stealth mode.

If you haven't played the assassin missions in Oblivion, you're missing some of the best and funniest parts of the game. There's a murder mystery in a locked stately home that's great fun. (No mystery to the player - you are the murderer, obviously.). And you get a really neat horse.

The Assiassins quests were the only ones I didnt do, I was going for Cheeky but generally good thief type, but I had heard they were a lot of fun.

It was all about the Grey fox!

Except when I kept forgetting to take the mask off when wandering into towns and getting chased all over the place.

Hoorah! Arrived today!

2 hours in, pretty good so far, it definitely seems pretty huge. After the opening quest I accepted what I thought would be a pretty simple side quest, get something back from some bandits, but ended up going through a whole load of caves and solving some puzzles.

Damn the fact there's still 2 days at work between now and my week off!
