Harry's 14 months now. He can walk, say a few rough words (ella for hello etc), and understand some instructions ("please sit down so I can put your shoes on"). He loves following us round the flat and is slowly figuring out the DVD player (he can open it, and enjoys randomly shoving discs vertically through the flap).

He's also huge! Or so it seems to us. Here he is walking home in the snow yesterday:

Bless him - he is huge, compared to Amy anyway. She's off now, walks with help/walker/furniture (is it "cruising"?)

I think we're close to words to, def an almost "hiya dada" tonight. She's also started to open her mouth really wide when she deliberatly drops something, because me & her dad do a intake of breath & shocked face when she does it. It's so cute, but also a bad thing as we're giving her stuff back, so we can see the face, where normally it's 2 strikes & you're out :lol:

Oh, btw, B, we get Tax Credits, just no help with the nursery fees.

I just found the pushchair and car seat I wanted both on sale! My Grandmothers offered to pay for the car seat, and my mums giving us the money for the pushchair which rocks (but even better my mum said she'll give us the price it was before it went on sale, so that's £30 to put towards something else! )

Astonishingly expensive! I can't believe some people are willing to fork out so much, especially things like the bugaboos and the Quinny's! All in all you can spend £1000 easily. :shock:
I'm just so glad that my family offered to buy them 'cos now I can put the money towards other stuff and know I still got the ones I wanted.
