At least they have the chance to wrap things up. It won't be dragged out. Could be several hours of action packed, answer packed telly.

Ok...I wasn't that fussed about the story of the week, they didn't explain it very well, and I didn't care that much what happened in the end. The observer appearing at the end to Peter kinda cheapened his apparent demise last week somewhat. And we guessed right, this is the Blue verse minus Peter.I felt sorry for Link throughout-unrequited loves a bitch.

However....

That ending made it totally worth it. Yep is was a cheesy, movie style rom com moment but....I totally loved it. Loved it!

I thought this was a very fair review. I too found the episode had weird ass pacing and the villain was bit meh. Anyone else think Walter night neck some cortexiphan now to re-remember having brought Peter up and what he has lost in confidence thus far?

But weren't you expecting a truck to hit them, or a gunshot, or something? Or have I watched too much Joss Whedon?

So, this week's Creepy Scientist with a Basement of Doom was maybe not the best we've ever had. Sometimes I think that they'd be better off having no motw, and just do a straight arc episode. They could all sit around playing cards, or watching Scooby Doo, or something.

But, the rest of the episode was great; I appear to be a sucker for Peter & Olivia. And poor Lincoln. And Walter being all upset because Peter was leaving without telling him. Awwww. I had to close my eyes during the getting the message out of Peter's eye bit though, because I don't do pointy things near eyes very well. Yuk. And nice to get confirmation of the fact that it's been the blue verse all along - the Observer's actions don't make sense otherwise. Now also wondering if Walter is somehow affected by that too - he seems to have warmed to Peter rather quickly, accepting him as his son, so either there's some merging going on or his conversation with Altrid the other week had more of an effect than I realised at the time.

Had a random thought - Peter & Liv's baby-that-should-be = future ancestor of the Observers? Don't think I like it as a plot twist though, so let's hope not. In the future version of events, didn't they say that they weren't going to have children?

Only problem with that though is why wipe out Peter's existence from the blue-verse, and be upset when Peter re-emerges.

I can't tell you how relieved I was to have September back. He was gone for far too long.

I never said it made sense! It could be just relevant to September, rather than the Observers as a whole: they don't seem to be always in agreement with each other - look at August. September seems to be the only one who wants Peter alive; the rest don't. Or at least they defer to December on the matter.

But I appear to be making even less sense now. Oops. Erm. *searches for sane topic of conversation* ..... Walter's great, isn't he?
