If I'd known we'd get this kind of reaction I would've told you sooner... ;-) But yes, we weren't coming, and then, shockingly enough, we won tickets. So now we are. We'll also be bringing along a couple of friends of mine, who are essentially the big brother and sister I never had, and are lovely. Please do your best to scare them.

Why thank you. :-) My costume... Well I'm working on it. We'll see. I'm also still trying to shift all the chocolate and bad stuffs I ate over Christmas. The Doctor Manhattan costume wasn't always flattering... So we'll see. Although I'm sure that starting the weekend with a cooked breakfast won't help. But what the hell. ;-)

I should mention that I'm only designing the badges and not physically making them as I don't really have the necessary skills. I can print them out on good paper if required though. Some are having them laminated though, as Kudos said. I apologise for any confusion, guys.

Greetings People!

I'm about to pop my SFX Weekender Cherry having won tickets to the event. I'm bringing my 15 year old son with me. We've won day tickets for friday and saturday and have been given "half price" accommodation for two nights for £150 which when compared to the cost of a silver package seemed a bit steep.

Anyhoo, we ain't got a scooby doo what to expect, and we'll be billy no mates there as well, so some friendly faces and guidance would be hugely appreciated.

Sorry if this is the wrong thread to post this on - first time on the forum too!!
