I've been hanging fire on giving dates because of a big family do that my relations just won't agree on a final date for. As it turns out, the one you've plumped for is one I'm where I'm double booked, even discounting the family event, so I'll be giving this one a miss.

Another late addition... my summer schedule is pretty damn hectic and rather stacked like a house of cards right now, I didn't want to add to the date discussion in case it all fell down!

Ok below are the prices for hotels we have previously stayed at, these are the total for 2 people in a twin room for 2 nights (all room only):

Premier Inn Angel Street: £109
Jurys Inn: £99
Ibis: £77.60

Just so you know in the past we have booked space and food on the Saturday at Premier Inn and Jurys to protect the normals from the madness, the Ibis does not have a space we can book, in the past we've ordered pizza on the Saturday and eaten it in the seating area in the lobby.

So any preferences?

So for one person in a shared room for the two nights, it would be half those prices? Cos then I don't mind so much (based on price that is, I'll let the older hands decide which setup works better)
