Okay then, here's what I've got:

I think the theme is HG Wells:

EDIT: Some more guesses added

1. Island of Dr Moreau (1996)
2. ?
3. First Men in the Moon (1960s version)
4. Things to Come (1935)
5. Warehouse 13 [I don't know the specific episode but is that really important?]
6. Food of the Gods (I don't know about any adaptations but I seem to remember the story involving big rats)
7. Empire of Ants
8. ?
9. Time After Time
10. Doctor Who: Timelash

Quite a number of educated guesses in there

Can't believe people people are actually getting number 8. Have you actually seen it, or, like me, do you only know it by reputation?

Reputation only! The picture rang a bell and the period fits, so I took a punt (assuming I'm one of those who got it right).

Properly excellent round, Dave, took some right head-scratching for some of them.

I remember watching #8 about 30-35 years ago. TBH, #6 & 7 were much more trickier for me...
