Rave: Finally got the money that the jobcentre owe me! When I got my job they were supposed to give me some money to keep me going until my first pay day and now just days before my second pay day they finally have.

RANT: People who feel the need to post comments like "you've got a date/name slightly wrong" to an article but have nothing to say about the article itself.

RAVE: I'm getting my bonus at the end of Aug! I SHOULD use it to pay off my laptop. I WILL be spending it on my SFX Weekender costume and more DC Converse!

Rave: Have decided on my costume for the weekender and have definitely got a target for weight loss now!

Rave: Someone has uploaded all of the early 90s Warp Records LFO releases onto Youtube. I was in electronic blippy techno heaven at lunch. Very nostalgic. Was so excited I forgot to eat though *face palm*

Correction, apparently according to a letter that arrived this afternoon the money paid into my bank account this morning is outstanding money from my jobseekers allowance - I wasn't even aware they owed me anything so am having to trawl through bank statements to work out if they do so I can tell them.

The letter also informs me that there has been a change in my claim. I am no longer entitled to jobseekers as I have a job (you think I would have noticed after two months...) It also informs me that should I not be receiving money at the end of my first week of employment I can claim some other kind of benefit - after two months of work I feel this information is just a little tardy.

RANT: I've been working late shifts to help out with the evening team, and have just discovered to my annoyance that the canteen stops serving food at 2.30, so I've had to resort to my rather rubbish emergency lunch of the last scrapings of a jar of peanut butter and some just-turning-stale bread. yum.

more sad than RANT: Two of my best friends (a couple, obv) have just broken up. Although we've known him for longer, we've become really close to her, and I feel particularly bad for her cos she actually moved to Sheffield and got a job here because of going out with him. I really hope she keeps the job and stays in Sheffield, but I expect it may be at least a little awkward for a time. Normally it's a bit easier cos only one of the couple is a friend, but it's difficult to know what to do so apart from offering my support, and companionship at the pub.

RANT : very bored. There are work-y type things I could be doing but that would leave me with absolutely nothing to do tomorrow or Saturday and I'm not sure I could bear that.

RAVE : Had to speak to a client this morning and his surname was pronounced 'Vader'!

RANT : usually have some chocolate in my little cupboard but ate it all yesterday and forgot to bring more in. Damn...

RAVE: I took today off work to sort out important stuffs and 'twas nice and sunny instead of horrible and rainy for the first time all week - I clearly has otherworldly powers ^.^

RANT: went to the first of this new work programme in glasgow, it should have been in paisley but that branch hasn't opened yet usual weirdness, the person I should have seen had her day off so I was given to Lynne who was then overbooked and I was passed of to someone else, then the sexy blonde from my previous work placement place spotted me, came over to talk and I was passed over to her, and then as she hadn't done any interviews yet I was passed over to the person who finally got me to sign a form, and who claimed that the Economy, you know that thing causing businesses to go bust daily and stops companies hiring people, is not an acceptable reason why people can't find work.
