RANT: Very heavy snow has caused the Inverness Red Hot Hogmanay Party to be cancelled. I don't know what I'm going to do for the bells now.

Rant. If you're thinking of setting off any fireworks this new year's eve, spare a thought for the parents of young children who are screaming because they're scared of the loud noises late at night, destroying any chance of said parents having any form of enjoyable new year's celebrations. I'm well aware of the rights of anyone to celebrate new year's eve they way they want, but I swear, if I met the people who have been letting of fireworks tonight and scaring my daughter I'd punch them in the face, and I'm not a violent man.

RAVE: my mum's nearly finished my dress, only the hem and a little beadwork to go!
RANT/RAVE (a bit of both, really): There's only 7 weeks to go until the wedding! This is a RAVE because I love my fiance and I'm looking forward to seeing all my friends and family for the occasion. This is a RANT because there is so much I have to do by then! And so much money I have to spend!

RAVE: The annoying cough I've had for days seems to be going. FINALLY.
RAVE: No more cough medicine that's packed full of sedatives! RAVE: Enjoyed Jools Holland last night, particularly Florence and the Machine, whose hair I loved. I'm encouraged by the fact her natural hair colour is close to mine... RANT: Can't afford to dye it even if I managed to work up the nerve to have it done

RAVE: Sat on the Ridgeway last night watching all the fireworks; was purdy
RANT: similar to Em's, trying to find money UBER-RANT: I did the research, I planned routes, triple checked them, then off we set for a new years day explore. One pillbox failed to be where the info said it was and could not be found. Found the second one, then off to check out the pans which appeared accessible. One was the rest are in a no-go area. Bugger.
