Just popping in to say: Fonz! Seriously, you have to watch the final episode of Six Feet Under! It's one of the few perfect final episodes of a series.

Rant: Had planned to be really good today and get lots of work done as well as some exercise. But feeling crappy today after not sleeping again and generally not in the mood so did nothing of what I planned.

Rant: Ended up in Starbucks. Only had a skinny latte but still not allowed on the diet. Plus not exercising means I will probably remain an ugly lump forever

Thanks for the HUGS JJ, the teeth next to my impacted wisdom teeth have been aching on and off for the last couple of weeks and it might mean problems. This is not good news

RAVE: Looking at the modules on the MA English Lit course and deciding which I'd like to do. Then writing down the titles of the books and looking them up on the internet.

RANT: A loft hatch that jumped free from the pole that opens it earlier and with the weight of a ladder on it swung down and onto my thumb, which 12 hours later is now pretty colours and a bit swollen. (I was at work)

RANT: A new night manager will soon be joining the night team at work and I've just found out he has absolutely no hotel experience whatsoever. Now, I admit with my six years experience I could've applied for the job, but I didn't want it. I did expect for the Human Resources dept to be able to actually pick someone who might have the tiniest nugget of a clue as to what they will be doing though. But noooo. So now the night time operation of a 180 room hotel, with a capacity for nearly 400 people will be undertaken by a "new starter". I pray we don't have a fire, a bomb threat or any of the other five hundred possible emergencies anytime soon. I won't even be able to rely on the bloke to do a check-in without me being there and he's supposed to be in charge! :evil: We are all boned.

Have espresso, double, no sugar, it's the next best thing to mainlining caffeine.It's like being woken up with a shotgun in the face, but in a good way.

RAVE: Today is a new day, the sun is out and I have been quite productive so far today.
