Rant: Still feeling under the weather. Virus thing go away now please!!!
 Rave: Have more money in my bank than I thought ( or should I say more overdraft left) might not be at limit by payday. Rave: Giant Spider thing crawling around a few miles from my flat Rant: Have to go to Leeds so will miss the water ballet on Saturday Rant2: Would have to brave the crowds in the city center to see it.

Rant: Manager accusing me of variously, Laziness, incompetence and Industrial sabotage for constantly running late on a particular service, just because we are in dispute over not having enough time.
Rave: The look on his face as he realised the Union rep was stood behind him as he is shouting over my calm explanations and fully supported reasons for being so late. Rave: The fact that said manager, in an attempt to prove us wrong, went out on the road to operate the service himself and was spotted out of service and off route in an attempt to get back on time. Rave: Four day weekend.

Aint it wonderful to see power-grabbing little nobodies get slapped down a few pegs from time to time. Props on staying calm allun, I'd have been throwing a few cutting remarks back!

Nah, I've found, over five and half years of dealing with passengers face to face, that nothing winds up and irritates people than when you are polite at them.
Plus I had already seen the union rep stood there laughing. This particular manager is generally o.k., but he is getting it in the neck from the directors who came up with the ridiculous idea of extending the route through a busy city center (Newcastle) and then cutting our running time by three minutes each way :? pure genious. Also, when told that we could not fit the busses we used for a particular route round one of the housing estates they insisted we must now go round, so one person had 10 feet less to walk (I have measured the distances), he daclared "Nonsense, I will show you how to do it". The bus needed four new windows, two new side panels and the entire side painted. :lol: :lol: :lol:

RAVE : job is looking good for going permanent and paying ok
RANT : too tired for words. RAVE : got to sleep quicker than I have in a long time. RANT : Still woke up feeling like I'd slept for about 10 minutes... RAVE : Malt loaf. Hadn't had any in ages and had forgotten just how fab it is! RANT : Foot still hurts... RAVE : :mrgreen:
