Funny that it actually is "A Christmas Carol" this year, I think every year there've been people on Gallifrey Base saying that that's what it's going to be.

Current rumor is that the ghosts will be past Doctors, which would be pretty cool, but people are always coming up with ways to make episodes multi-Doctor stories.

According to the ever reliable and always factual Sun newspaper/kitty tray liner, Matt Smith is only doing one more series then heading off to Hollywood to share David Tennant's success.

As for the Christmas special, would be good if the three ghosts were past and future Doctors, and I'm sure I've read something about it being flashbacky in nature. (Could have dreamt that as can't find where I read it).

Doubt it will be that though.

I can see Moff doing a Christmas Carol type story where the Doc plays the part of all the ghosts by using the TARDIS to show someone their life. Either that or he, Amy and Rory become the different 'ghosts'.

If I remember rightly some suggested that End of Time was going to based around Christmas carol.

Past Doctors, I will believe it when I see it and posssibly not even then.

This Matt Smith is leaving after S6 is concerning, there is the whole 'Everything changes' plot of River.
So basically Moff has planned this whole thing. Get rid of the best asset his Dr Who has to be replaced by what...? River as the Dr?

Moff can do whatever he wants because nothing matters once the Universe can be rebooted.

I know it is only a stupid rumour that ought to be not given any time. These days I have very little faith in Moff, the BBC or DW being what it has the ability to be - Great drama.
