I actually HADN'T read the stories revealing their identity when I posted that. I've been referring to them as "aliens" from the get go, because that's what they look like to me. Not human, advanced technology, giant ships in the sky. Even if they turn out to be from one of the other realms mentioned in the Thor movie, they'd still technically be aliens(as would Thor) because they're not from earth.
So in conclusion, my referening to them as aliens did not come from any spoilers I'd read, just my interpretation of what I'd seen.

Totally agree. I think people get to touchy about spoilers. While seeing a proper spoiler for a film you looking foward to is very annoying, someone refering to aliens is not a spoiler unless its in reference to something like the Hobbit.

Next will come someone speculating on the main villain in the next iron man film, being shouted down for spoiling the fact that their would be a villain in it.

Has anyone written to the makers of Lego Superheroes for posting potential spoilers on the front of their Avengers Lego sets? On the Captain America one especially, it looks like he's fighting...&^%&%&$ [post aborted]

I cannot believe you just said that Captain America fights. That is such a major spoiler. I thought he was still standing in Times Square talking to Fury!!!!

Whoa whoa! Are you telling me that Nick Fury is in this film as well as Captain America? I didn't know that! I've been avoiding looking at posters so I don't know who's in the film!! Ruined I tells you....ruined!!!
