But crematorium as a term exists - "Life Model Decoy" is rather specific. Why would you say that unless it was a recognised term? We know that term because it's from the comics, by the very nature of the world he's in Stark doesn't have those comics. If he was joking that it wasn't him, wouldn't he be more likely to go for "answering machine", "cyborg" or other generic term?

It's all up in the air anyway IMO, until the next film (Iron Man 3?) comes out.

Where was War Machine when an actual war was breaking out?

Military probably had him deployed elsewhere I imagine. But you'd think Fury would have that card as well.

Mind you, as Stark said - He HAS a big gun, he's not THE big gun.

By the mere mention of LMD's is definite nod to the comic fans AND it opens up a whole host of opportunities and the most apparent, was the "dead" Coulson an LMD?

In the comics, SHIELD especially Fury used them a lot and as I had mentioned before, the NIck Fury vs SHIELD limited series showed that the Deltites (advanced LMD's) who replaced the majority of SHIELD agents. This was all controlled via Hydra. And what we have seen in all these Marvel films and especially in Avengers, it is certainly plausible to build a conspiracy "B" plotline though it may not have been deliberate from IM1.

LMDs don't bleed, they're mechanical. There was blood seeping out of Coulson.

End of.

Of course, we never saw the paramedics fail to revive him.

And the cards that Fury covered in blood and flung on the table weren't in his pocket. So, it's always possible that Coulson was hidden away, used as the motivating factor for the team to congeal.

Probably not best choice of words.

2. Did it appear to anyone else that the Hulk was smaller than previous incarnations? Was this deliberate?
I'm reasonably certain, though not 100%, that versions of the Hulk that have exhibited greater intelligence and control in the comics were of slightly less stature than the out of control versions.

Anyhoo just saw it tonight and loved it.
