Primeval Season Four

Great news Primeval fans, the intrepid dino hunters have been saved from extinction! Seasons four and five are a good year away yet (at the moment season four is set to premiere on ITV1 at the beginning of 2011) so what better time to let Adrian Hodges, Tim Haines et al in on your sure fire ways to make the return of Primeval a monster hit? Post your suggestions here and they may be featured in a future issue of SFX...

Some tips:

- We like suggestions that lend themselves well to illustration. Cast requests, monster requests, character requests, that kind of thing. Do feel free to comment with things that can't be illustrated, but specifics are always appreciated.
- Avoid making lengthy comments, as they're difficult to include in the feature. 40-50 words is a good absolute maximum.
- Please avoid random discussion in Wishlist threads, as it amounts to a lot of stuff we can't use. If you want to agree with a request someone else has made, that's fine; discussions of canon (for example) aren't.

Not to have a cop out tidy up reason as to how the team got back to the future.

Have more than dinosaurs coming through, I liked the S3 episode with the knight chasing the dino (thinking it was a dragon) so some more like that.

Start supplying some answers about the future tech but no more future predators their getting a bit overused in the Dalek sense.

Dont, and I mean DONT have the team gain control of the/an anomaly cos then the show's just Stargate.

Please give the cast a makeover so that Connor stops dressing like a young Albert Steptoe and Abby wears less heavy eyeliner and more pants. Let's face it - the show needs some fan service if it wants to keep going.

find some decent ways to kill off the bad guys rather than just have them stepping backwards through an anomoly or random dino mugging.
can i be first to say MORE PANTS PLEASE
an explanation of some sort as to what the anomalies are or did i doze off through it.
a stegasaurus or brontosaurus or iguanadon or something that people might recognise that the most obscure dinosaur they could find.

how about an episode where we see how the cutter from the seaon 2/3 universe has dealt with swapping places with the cutter from the season 1 universe, imagine seeing him meeting the characters from the ARC when they have no idea waht the ARC is and he realises that he only has a student and trainee zookeeper as backup rather than a full tactical assaultforce.
make some us of the troops that accompany them everywhere, how about an episode where they have to rescue a team of troops.

Yeah I'd add a wish to do something narratively and creatively useful with the troops. There seems little point in telling us how tough they are and arming them to the teeth if they can't shoot anyone because it's a saturday teatime family show.

After the mammoth on the M25 and the prehistoric rhinos running riot through a camping site the whole world must be watching these weird happenings on YouTube. The team should now be fighting the paparazzi as much as they are paeleolithic pachyderms.
