Don't all shout at me, but I borrowed The Five Doctors from the library to watch later in the week. My only defence is that it leapt off the shelf into my hand as I was passing and I found myself at the counter with it in my hand...
OK, the real truth is, I spotted it and was curious so figured I'd borrow it...

ops: Sorry for quoting it! I don't think it's that bad myself, and it's interesting to see what happens to Borusa from Deadly Assassin (though you could do with watching Invasion of Time as well…)

I rather like "The Five Doctors". I thought the movement-sensing robot was the coolest thing ever when I was a kid. Of course, now it looks like a guy in a silver leotard...
But, while it's a nonsense story, it's very entertaining. And Troughton is magnificent in it: Soldier: I'm sorry, Sir, you're not allowed in there. Troughton: Not allowed? Me? I'm allowed everywhere! It also raises a couple of interesting points with regards to the mythology of the series. The Master is offered a new cycle of regenerations, showing the Time Lords could live beyond 13 lives, if they wanted to. And, most interestingly, I think, when Sarah Jane meets Pertwee she says "But you became..." and he interrupts with "...all teeth and curls? Yes, I suppose I did", which indicates that the Doctor can have a sense of who he's going to regenerate in to.
