My fear is that Oswin is to introduced properly in the Christmas episode and so far they have been fairly poor fairytales .... I can almost see this
Bright light fades ...... Oswin "but how am i here I was a Dalek I died" Doctor "its Christmas a time of wishes" Oswin " That really doesn't make sense" Doctor "I know .... get in the TARDIS we will worry about logic later"

They will probably start the episode with a massive fireball, and the two of them throw themselves out of it clothes smoking.
Oswin asks how it was possible that the Doctor did what he just did, and he replies he dosnt want to talk about it.

OK loved the episode, but later on it struck me that was'nt the asylum rather like St Clonnart's (?) where Ted sent Jack, ( Drink,Gel's Feck ! ) and so on. Just a thought.

Typical, best episode in years and no thread to talk about it.

Aye, ticked all the boxes for me: fun, serious, zany, logical(ish) and an Ark with no arc that makes good sense with nice nods to the past ......

Really enjoyed that. It was a nice, big ROMP, which managed to juggle so many things really well and give them all their moment. Rory's dad was great, the "gang" was great, the villain was great, and the dinosaurs were great! I was also personally pretty satisfied to FINALLY have a HUMAN villain who The Doctor directly deals with, compared to the RTD approach where he'd conveniently never have to get his hands dirty and would only kill aliens, which is a weird stance to take when you think about it. Interesting that The Doctor's anonymity is made a factor here and seems like it's leading up to something. Despite that, I did think Solomon would have wanted his TARDIS at the end, rather than Nefertiti.
