ok this is getting silly now sony, how am i supposed to play all these games when i have a ton of games i haven't finished plus last months games plus my daily tour of duty on BF3

I couldn't reccomend PS+ more highly to anyone even if you are just a casual gamer it's a ridiculous value for money offer.

Trying to store the games is getting a little ridiculous too. I hope the PS4 has a second hard drive bay.

Yeah I was gonna ask about that -- if I were to run out of space, would it just be a case of plugging an external harddrive into one of my usb slots, or would I have to swap out the internal Hard Drive and re-download everything? SSDs are starting to come down in price now, and from what I've seen, they really kick the arse off install/loading times.

For the PS4, I'd quite like to have the option of the OS running on an SSD, and the content to be housed on a separate bay, which can be easily upgraded, if need be. In fact, that's pretty much how I have my workstation set up. It makes bootup, and general working insanely quicker.

Apparently you can put games on a USB HDD. I'd say load time would be fairly long though.

I'd tweak that just a bit and have OS and game(s) you're playing on the SSD with the regular drive just for storage.

In theory that would be great, except that not only would you have to transfer games back and forth (and if your game is like 10gb or something that might be more trouble than it's worth, if you intend to play a lot of games at once), but apparently SSDs will only allow a finite number of writes to them before they start to creak under the pressure.

Ideally you'd want a minimum of 100GB on the SSD so you could have you're most played games stored on it with room left for something new every now and then. The low end estimates for write limits on SSDs is over 1000 so you'd probably only end up having to replace them every few years if at all. As for waiting to carry something over from the regular storage drive a similar system to play while downloading they'll have on the new PS Store could cut that down to a few minutes.

Yeah, it really makes me excited/intrigued to see just how the inner workings of the PS4 are going to operate, before launch. I guess I'd just be afraid of hoarding way too much stuff, and not being able to having everything readily available in one massive "hub" -- I'm weird like that :P

I think there are some fundamental design flaws with the PS3's front end in general (slow load times, inability to manually sort games), and I really hope that the PS4 rectifies them. Even the Store, I've kinda stopped going on it on the console, and I generally do my shopping on the PC browser version -- it's sooo much quicker, I find.

Hitman: Absolution platinum is in the bag. It's not nearly as hard as it could have been and even at that some of my missions were very, very messy.

I think I'll try for the Catherine platinum next.
