Default Re: How well do hamsters cope with noise?

On the off chance that anyone's interested I thought I'd give an update in this slightly strange affair.

We are no longer getting a hamster, it has now morphed into a cat. Friends of ours were moving away and they needed there cat rehomed so we had to take her in. This means I need to develop a better storage system for my comics so she doesn't try to sleep on them...

The noise upstairs has stopped but morphed into a leak through the celing. Despite there protestations that it isn't them it very clearly is and is rotting the floorboards above. Luckily the insurance should cover it for us and we should be able to show they were at fault (as we gave them written as well as verbal messages several times that the water was coming from them).

Funny thing, life, isn't it?

Whatever you do, keep the comics out of scratching reach. I didn't have that foresight, and my then kitten played merry havoc with the spines of some of my most precious vinyls *sob*
