Survival of the Fittest Episode 3:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01j8pd7 This episode was quite good with the philosophical debate between Klein and Steffen and very effective the shock Klein displayed when Steffen gave a certain description of his people. The Doctor and Klein discovering the physical development of the Vrill was quite shocking.

Survival of the Fittest Episode 4:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01j9hsh Conclusion to the Survival of the Fittest. Quite interesting of the Doctor’s name being used as the authority for the Vrill. Klein ultimately presented as not a typical companion and the way the story certainly presented a good lead-up to the last in the Klein trilogy The Architects of History.

The Architects of History Episode 1:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01j9mzg The final in the Klein trilogy with the Seventh Doctor. Due to how Klein last appeared in the previous story Survival of the Fittest, she really mess the timeline up which provides an intriguing start to The Architects of History. Guest stars include Lenora Crichlow who had appeared in TV Doctor Who in Gridlock but I most recently seen her in her swansong in the UK Being Human. Like The Architects of History, Leonora Crichlow’s final Being Human season involves the fixing up of the timeline. A very solid opening episode despite the fact the Doctor had hardly anything to do in it and solidity of the episode was cemented by the cliffhanger. After the end of this episode on BBC Radio 4 Extra, the presenter of the 7th Dimension, Natalie Haynes provided the day’s Sylvester McCoy fact and says that McCoy is friends with Bob Hoskins and therefore the Doctor is friends with Roger Rabbit. The latter isn’t quite correct because while Hoskins did star in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? he did not voice the eponymous rabbit.

From the Doctor Who News Page:
Big Finish has announced that it will be making its third season of Fourth Doctor to be released in 2014. It will be the second with Louise Jameson as Leela. Among the guest stars for the third Fourth Doctor season are Gareth Thomas (previously the season 27 opener Storm Warning starring Paul McGann) and Jessica Martin (the Sylvester McCoy story Greatest Show In The Galaxy). Thomas is of course well known as the title character in Blake’s 7 and Thomas had originally played Blake at the same time Tom Baker originally the Fourth Doctor on television. Meanwhile Big Finish’s first Fourth Doctor season will end this month with the release of The Oseidon Adventure. I also just found out that the last two stories of the second Fourth Doctor season are The Dalek Contract & The Final Phase.

The Architects of History Episode 2:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01jb1xw The Architects of History as written by Steve Lyons featured the shark-like Selachians whom he had originally introduced in his 1997 novel The Murder Game. The Selachians made their audio debut in The Architects of History and it is very impressive hearing how they sound like. Interesting listening to Rachel’s backstory. Although it is something that the Doctor has done before it was still quite a shock listening to a certain revelation he made at the end marking the cliffhanger.

The Architects of History Episode 3:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b009szrh The highlight of this episode was Sam’s revelation about himself and it was quite sad hearing about it.

The Architects of History Episode 4:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01jjvss Conclusion to The Architects of History but I’m afraid I was not too impress by it. Quite a tragedy with Rachel and what a surprise of what becomes of Klein.
