Well finished the first draft of my submission for Use Enogh Gun and quite chuffed with it. A bit long but at 7.5K it is 500 words under the upper limit, and hopefully I can loose a bit more during the proofreading/editing process and I hope to get it submitted by the end of the week.

I am a happy camper. I sent my submission in to Immortal Ink a little while ago and they have asked to see my full manuscript. Even if it doesn't lead to anything it's nice to get a call back. Still waiting to hear back from Strange Chemistry (the YA branch of Angry Robot).

I'm still waiting on any sort of email from PHP, Miles Booth has posted on the forum that TOC of those accepted so far will be going up today or tomorrow. Seeing he's said he's read everything so far submitted and I've not heard anything I'm expecting a rejection.

I've been stuck with my Pratchett Prize entry for a long time. Today I tried something different - i wrote it by hand instead of typing, and it just flowed! Interesting. Want to try and finish the first draft by August so I have enough time to edit it.
