I thought Benedict did a reasonable job. It was his second appearance on the box this week; the first was at the Crime Thriller Awards (which went out on ITV3 and should be available on the ITVplayer) as Sherlock was up for two 'Daggers'.
As for the gjut of new fans that Victoria has been lumbered with; you'll can have a "date" with her for the next nine weeks on Only Connect, 8:30PM every Monday on BBC4. The first six editions are on the iPlayer; although if you manage to get the first one playing, please tell me how you did it. Because i dunno how it can be on there, but not play.

First off, WLPM, i'm impressed you dug up a thread that's about 18 months old. I had forgotten all about this one, did you remember it or do a Search?
Secondly, i wonder if they'll do any gags that aren't to do with ST:TOS & it's movies? A one liner about T.J. Hooker, possibly; Tek War, no i don't think so!
EDIT: The guests are going to be Charlie Brooker & Andy Hamilton! Wouldn't you give a limb to be in the audience??

Both. I was sure I could remember there being one on here ages ago so did a quick search just to be sure.
