Got the midwife appointment on the 17th.That's way quicker than in the old town.Looks like all the appointments and the birth itself will be at Crosshouse maternity unit in Kilmarnock. We're having a Killie baby

The wife got a bit of a rollocking from me on Friday for over exerting herself. She insists on doing all the heavy jobs until she gets tired and sore, then plonks her arse down on the couch saying "your turn".
Why cant pregnant women just.slow.down?They always try and do too much. |

It's never too early for nesting behaviours in the modern female human.

My wife was the same, and it was nesting. But yes, my wife is also stubborn. I had to work twice as hard because I was trying to get jobs out of the way before she could do it. In fact this is why any time she's meant to be taking it easy I'm extra wron out.
"Well dear you were at work and I thought, these heavy weights won't move themselves" Ahhhhrgh. In short, I feel for you mate

![]() We also have a situation. With a sad heart we have decided to move back up to the home town.We have discussed this at length and decided its for the best. What if she goes into labour in the middle of the night? What if there is a problem like the last time? What am i going to say?"Sorry hun, you'll need to go to the hospital alone as i have the girls".There's nobody here to help us.No family or friends, plus the added sadness of the rest of the family not seeing the kid unless they travel 140 miles but that's difficult for some of them. Plus with our youngest being unable to walk, the wife has to pick her up constantly which,at this stage is not good for her.Can you imagine her being 5,6 or 7 months on and having to constantly lift her?Not good.I will either have to quit my job or move back home. It's not happening right now, maybe nearer the end of the year.Time to take a breather and get my head in order.
