Well I have the Monday/ Tuesday 4th/5th June off anyway so count us in for either the Sat/Sun if it's in Glasgow but can't afford to go to Edinburgh.

Glasgow would be better then, for either the Saturday or Sunday. If it's Sunday I'll have to leave earlier because the trains to Kilmarnock stop around 6/7pm (can't remember which). Will we just go for Glasgow on Sunday the 3rd? We can always go to Edinburgh another time.

If most people are around Glasgow, which seems to be the case, then that would be the better option.
Can we also confirm whether it's Saturday or Sunday? I need to know asap to get things booked. And what do people want to do?

FP is indeed open on Sundays, as is, I believe, A1 Comics. I was thinking we could possibly see what films are on at the IMAX and maybe throw in a visit to the science centre, since it's next door. Might be a bit much financially to do both, but the option is there.
Failing that we could just have the traditional pub lunch and drinks whilst discussing the merits or otherwise of science fiction minutiae!

Do people just want to meet up and do whatever, or is there anything specific anyone fancies? I quite like Rob's idea of the science centre, I'm happy to do whatever

I'm easy with pub or science centre, hell if it does end up being science centre I may take the car (And possible 1 or more children) or if its pub, myself and my special drinking trousers.

Same here, I haven't been to the Science Centre for years so it'd be good to go back there
 But there HAS to be a Forbidden Planet visit. Don't think it would be right to not have one (I want to buy Avengers goodies anyway, lol)
