I wonder if this is the scene that they allegedly shot on opening night, right before they premiered the movie?

Been to see it again tonight and still "just wow"!
To the above poster, yes, Stark definitely does call him Legolas. Hadn't spotted that the first time around. Being a pack Orange Wednesday crowd in a big old cinema compared to a preview night 25 or so like I had last Thursday in a small new cinema, it was a bit of a different experience. A lot more oohs and ahs, laughter was more noticeable (don't think too many heard "puny god" as they were still laughing from the smackdown) and it didn't disappoint even knowing the surprises coming up. One thing though, in his introduction scene Stark answered the phone with "you're through to the Life Model Decoy of Tony Stark" - so they exist in this universe, could have planted a way out for Coulson. Sort of thing Joss would do. |

Yeah but again it's Whedon - he doesn't do things lightly. He wouldn't use something that means something to the geeks unless it was to set something up OR wind everyone up!

After a stonking opening weekend in the UK,it looks like Deathly Hallows II's record is gonna get hammered. If they can reclaim the $220m budget, imagine how much Avengers 2 will cost to make.Dont give it to anyone but Joss.

You reckon Stark would build a suit without air-con? I don't.

I'm pretty sure that was just a gag (baring in mind Tony was trying to avoid taking Coulson's call). The only hope for Coulson's survival is that Fury lied about his death (he could have just lost consciousness in his "death" scene) to motivate the remaining heroes to take action (like he did with the trading cards), but I think we have to accept that Phil Coulson is the latest victim of Joss Whedon's killing spree!
