The last time DC changed their trade-dress for TPs, in 2005, many shops were selling off the older versions slightly cheaper. The new logo and dress should start to appear in March/April, so - who knows? - we might see some good deals in the weeks to come.

Depending on whether the New 52 is here to stay after the first year (I, personally, can see an event coming around September which will 'tweak' all the most unpopular changes out of continuity, but keep the ones that are working), most of DCs back catalogue will be of interest only to dedicated Fanboys, so that, too, may prompt some shelf-lightening Sales.

Not quite Graphic Novels but The Works are selling off random Marvel Comics 2 for 1, and by random i mean random issues of anything from the 90s Silver Surfer or The Avengers to Marvel Fanfare.

DCs and a few Crossgens in the Hull branch. I guess it must vary branch to branch.

The Works in Harrow actually has some graphic novels in at last.

I got the hardback Avengers/Invaders for 7.99 , not bad for a $40.

Also had a Mighty Avengers, an Ultimate Spiderman, Hawkeye and a Dark Tower hardback and a Captain America tpb for between 5.99 - 7.99 - not sure what issues are reprinted in each.

Got it, read it, and wish I'd not bothered. A confusing, muddled story and some truly piss poor characterization throughout.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but The Works now has a decent GN section on their website.
