As soon as I read that link my mind went straight back to university and a Samuel Beckett obsessed friend who wrote dozens of minimalist plays, in many of which stage-direction was the main constituent of the script.

Put me off Beckett (save for 'Waiting for Godot' and the novel 'Murphy') for life.

Oh yeah, "Breath". 25 seconds, sun comes slightly up on some rubbish, then goes down again. Funny bugger, Beckett.

Yeah, but you try writing longer plays while you're busy 'putting things right that once went wrong'. Takes up a lot of your time that.
