That's interesting -- that they didn't take into account marketing and whatnot. Oh well, even more reason to go and seek out the tv show! :P

The general rule I quoted earlier is based on the production cost, which would $150m if wiki is to be believed. That would mean if they grossed twice that they'd make a $20m profit (when you take into account the marketing cost), which is bobbins in Hollywood terms.

I can't see that counting as "worthwhile" - do they maybe spend a lot more on marketing now than they did 14 years ago?

Legion - 4/5 Don't know why it didn't do better. Angels and guns = WIN!

I did raise that niggling question that has plagued me since Castiel appeared in SPN - why don't we get an angel wing action in SPN? I mean, how hard can it be? Just one little tenney, tiny scene with some serious friggin' angel wings!! Please????

Ditto. Watched it last night and enjoyed it immensely. The whole webcast scene is still painful to watch though... I have a question, the bit when he meets Red Mist in the alley for the first time, is the music that plays the same one that was in the cinema? For some reason it sounded out of place...
