Default Small press

How about educating the Comic Heroes' readership to the fantastic independent and small press movement that exists in the UK? Discover the talent before the big boys. There's a lot of very worthy stuff out there.

It was only a little plug. . . and an afterthought.

Jodo rules!

Enki Bilal was also a favourite of mine. Perhaps an article on the brief publishing history of Humanoids' comics in English?

That would've been a short article. Most of my Enki Bilal comics are in danish and the one I do got in english (the Nikopol Trilogy) is so hard to get hold of it's just stupid.

Really? I got it in English, once again during the Humanoids/DC era. As well as a collection of his early stuff.

Jodorowsky's Metabarons, Technopriest, Bouncer, Raising Cain, Son of the Gun, The White Llama were all published in English.

And Bleeding Cool reported this week that Humanoids is coming back. Huzzah!

As a firm reader of SFX, I did worry that Issue 1 covered a lot of the same ground, I understand hitting the market with the movie tie-ins but maybe be more like a British Wizard, stick to comics & the stuff that doesn't get covered in other mags. Of course, saying that, having the space to cover the comics that inspired the movies & recommending which stories to go read is great.

From a personal point of view, I'd like to see some good history stuff, I dip in & out of various comics & lose continuity so as an example, I kinda missed all the grey Hulk stuff when he was working in Vegas, be good to see some timelines / history of characters, a lot to explore.

As some of the other posters said, non mainstream super heroics would be nice to see too.

I really hope it catches on though, great read & keep it going!

Yea much better than the first issue, liked the Moore interview most, just so I could marvel at the sheer arseholness of him, he really came across as full of shit........... Brilliant !

Any chance of more European artists writers being featured ?

Also would love a feature done on Ennis's Punisher MAX run.

Just spent the weekend watching a bunch of fan films, inspired by the Judge Minty feature (when is it available??) The stuff by Bat in the Sun is very good...so maybe a feature on those would be good.

Book Club...come on, it's got to be Sandman.
