Default Pregnant?

A thread for the pregnant amongst us now our numbers are growing! (and for those who are already parents to come and offer advice and laugh at our upcoming world of lack of sleep )

Okay, so to start, I'm 30 weeks pregnant, due 27th October with a boy. Currently being kicked lots and having to go to the toilet all the time!

Hello!

I'm currently 4+4 weeks pregnant, so have only just found out.

I'm also having to go to the toilet lots - no other symptoms yet though. I'm seeing the GP tomorrow and will register with the midwife after that.

Hi,

I'm 16+5, and already the toilet trips have increased :? I'm not even half-way *wails*

Due 30/01/09, we're not going to find out what make we have as it took us nearly 3 years & more stress than I care to remember to get here, so quite frankly it could be green & have antenna for all we care

Names have been sorted & we got confused and scared by pushchairs in Mothercare on Sunday & ran away - we haven't got a clue  ops: :?

Edit: Cos I got the year wrong - brain has been eated by baby

Being ignorant of pregnancy and parenthood, can someone explain the 4+4 and 16+5 to me?

my advice on pushchairs is get one that is a combi with the car seat. We inherited an old graco from my wonderful brother, it makes the little one a lot less disturbed as they sleep till they want to poo, pee or feed!

It's the number of weeks + number of days pregnant.

Best of luck the lot of ya. Rhian, my little nipper was born at 25 +3 so make sure you've got the hospital bag packed and ready. Could be any minute now.

On the pushchair front, the combis are ace, but I would recommend having a play and doing research in Mothercare, but then buying from kiddicare online. Brilliant service and some great bargains. Also when checking the carseats, check whether or not the airbags in the car are able to be disabled as that will tell you if you can have the seat in the front or back of the car.
