Or places where SF fans should go on a pilgrimage like the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas where they've got a superbly nerdy Star trek exhibit and ride. They've even got a bar and restauarant serving such things as the Rings of Betazed (onion rings) and a Long Island James T Kirk. It's cool.  |
That's the Star Trek Exhibition is very cool though now under threat as CBS is selling its Paramount Parks division off. (I want to try the Wrap of Kahn!) Miss Smeg is flat out refusing to take advantage of their get married on the bridge of the Ent-D service...
Interestingly the weekly pub quiz I write and host is called Bar Wars (
www.barwars.co.uk) and I came up with the name and quiz long before channel 4 started doing their TV show of the same name. Grrr.
