Hi folks

Order it online here if you can't find it in your local store.

Let us know your thoughts - did the films you voted for make it into the countdown?

Cheers, Dave

Popped out and got it. Great issue. I was worried it was going to just be a giant picspam but was well made.
Could we see similar ones for TV Shows and Books perhaps?

My own thoughts on the list (without mentioning names)::
98: One of a good number of foreign language films that made it on to this list.
97:Really?!? Number Six!?! I know it's not the worst but it seems an odd choice for the top 100.
90: This is so much lower down compared to the previous poll. I wonder if it was due to it not being listed in either of the suggested choices lists?
82: Why does this one have pictures from the sequel?
72: Aww a nice one to have in there. Often underapprecitated by genre fans
66: Choice I'm probably most surprised to see
62: Glad to see the appearance of, probably, the best non-English language film made.
41: Wpw! It beat 68,48 and 43? My own personal choice but a real shocker.
30,26,25,24: I wonder how much of these are down to how recent they are and if they will remain so high in future polls.
10: Highest ranked film I haven't seen. Insanely I missed it when it came out and I haven't seen it since. Really need to!
7: Expected it to be higher. Glad it wasn't.
6: As the article says age hasn't been kind to it.

The top 5 are probably the definitive genre films and number 1 is well deserved.

Why is the interview with the winning director all about editing? Is it by some chance a reprint from when a DVD was released? I understand how busy they must be but it is a bit of a let down.

A lot of the bubbling under are very good choices too.

Seen 79 of the 100 in total. I have heard of all of them though. But then had to look up Jayne Nelson's film choice...

Definitely seen: 79
Probably seen: 9
Consider massively overrated: 15

Came up with the worlds greatest Signature, one that would make women swoon and men wish to be my friend, one that would be so devastatingly brilliant that it would end the concept of signatures forever.

And then I woke up and wrote this instead.

Can I ask is there more than half a page devoted to each entry like last years Icons special which I was a little disappointed by when I read two thirds of it in half and hour, which I wouldn't normally say about the specials as they can take me ages to read.

It's not as bad as the icons special but not as text filled as some of the others. Looking at them it seems to be about 150 words a page or 1/3rd text to 2/3 pictures.

Typo (or just a maths error) - On the 'History repeating itself?' list, Serenity is listed as having been number 1 in the 2007 poll, and it says it has dropped 5 places - which would make it 6 in the current poll, which is incorrect - it's at 7.

Surprised by how low Spider-Man (87) and Spider-Man 2 (83) were.

Very surprised by how high The Fifth Element (15) was. Visually impressive but I detested the character Ruby Rhod.

AAARGH! You're right, we're wrong. One no-prize on its way...

Me too. But then I was surprised by a lot of the positions. My only job was to put the movies in the order that you lot voted them!

Hi all - it's more like 300 words a page, not including all the credit-y stuff we put on. RL

Sorry about that I meant to say 300 but I counted 1 of the double page sections and forgot to double. I apologise.
