I bet Terry Pratchett is excited about this, given how much he loves Oblivion (see issue 196)!

I'm really looking forward to this. I've missed a good sandbox fantasy game since Oblivion, with the likes of Dragon Age not really cutting the mustard in this regard. I hope the new game has all the good bits of Morrowind as well as the eye-candy from Oblivion. That would be the ultimate game. I also hope that the recent trend for 'dumbing down' the RPG elements is reversed (or at least there are options to switch these elements on or off).

Skyrim? Seriously, that's the name?

It sounds like something you'd do while joining the mile high club!

It's where Nords come from (think Vikings). Yeah, I'm super excited about this one; hopefully the MQ will be halfway decent this time. Babysitting Martin was not my idea of fun.

Very excited about this since I heard that the terrible NPC levelling system from Oblivion has been removed. I spent a huge amount of time playing Morrowind but couldn't stomach Oblivion at all, solely because of that system.

However, I have also heard that dual-wielding has been implemented and the class system has been removed. Which sounds like the kind of console-friendly streamlining that earned Mass Effect 2 so much ire.

I still have Oblivion sitting on my shelf, unplayed for nearly two years now, and it's pretty low down on my gaming priority list. I wonder if I should wait for this one now.
