Default LONDON MEETS! Because southerners are people too.

It's just a suggestion about an idea for a theory of a possible not confirmed meet up by people from this board in South London. (Everyone likes South London).
I'm thinking Clapham, because it's nicely serviced by trains from the south and from other bits of London. And there's some really good pubs there.
I'm not the biggest fan of central london, and I'm not allowed near Forbidden Planet in case I spend all my money.
Let me know your opinions my lovely interweb friends.

Had to go on a bit of a search but here's the thread for the London Meets. Been a bit quiet so it was stuck way down on page two.

Not sure what's happening at the moment with reagrds London get togethers. But there has been talk of a picnic and duck feeding....

Might help give you an idea of who's in the area.

Also, if you're intereseted we're planning a UK Meet up sometime late summer - we're hunting for a date here and the monster Sheffield Thread documenting previous national get togethers is here. Hope this helps!

It's probably best to head to the last couple of pages in the longer threads, some of them are pretty intimidating at first glance...

I think the SE Londoners were muttering vaguely about Greenwich, though of course that'll be a trek for any SW Londoners....

Always up for a shandy or two, me. My trouble is I work shifts, so it's better if I just tag along to a meeting once it's arranged.

It's a bit of a case of "Have Oyster Will Travel" for me and I also have 2 bases (mine and the other half), so pretty much anywhere on the Tube/DLR is fine.

Yeah, I'm up for it. Might be a bit hard to get to but I'll give it a try

It's a possible for me!

I'm in that SE London area so there's no excuse really.

Sounds good . I'm in the Wallington/Sutton/Croydon area , and am flexable due to getting free travel . Croydon has a FP - Cosmicrohanprincess works there - plus there's a number of large and non busy Pubs within a few miles . I'll text Cosmic and she what she says to the idea .

Much better area than it's given credit for ( despite to the odd stabbing ) , plus if I'm around few people will give any trouble - I'm six foot and 20+ stone and scare Chav's almost everyday !
