Well the ending was semi-touching, were it not for their selfishness destroying the world, but at least they lived happily ever after - sort of.

I think the end was inevitable, unless the superpowers could have done something about it by working together (instead of, y'know, fighting to the death over the bare scraps left)

speaking of she, the ultimate weapon. know there was a live action version released in 2006. anyone know if it's going to be dubbed/subbed and sent over here?

ok just seen last disc of moon phase...very satisfied at how it emded and that the last 2 episodes went back to the original humourous side of the anime

Speed Grapher is really terrible, offensive, badly made tat, but I can't stop watching. I have also developed an alarming crush on the gun-toting bunny boiler police lady. I'm going to hell, basically.

Anybody got a good word for this show? It's even worse than Gantz. No wonder Studio Gonzo are going to the wall.

I picked up Speed Grapher for dirt cheap in FP a while ago. Haven't got around to watching it yet. I suspect with such a sterling reccommendation I might pass it over next time I'm picking things up off the To Watch pile, too ;)

Grave of the Fireflies was brilliant. So tragic. I hate watching a Ghibli film, cos now I'm in the mood to have a marathon, it happens every time!
